jane:  Good morning! The weather in the Bay Area is beautiful and naturally our thoughts turn to the summertime... this season is unusually busy for us! First and foremost, we are *almost* finished with the artwork and all the associated bits and pieces that go into an album. Jeff at Turn Records has been amazing. He's like a great soccer coach - knows when to be supportive and when to, ahem, kick our asses. I will be the first to admit that we need a firm organizing hand at times to guide our wayward musical genius.


Ha! In other news, we are all taking some vacation this summer, too. Chris Groves will be going off the the south of France and to Spain. When he gets back, we'll be filming a Dealership video on a stage in Los Angeles. And then I'll be flying off on the fourth of July also to France - a popular destination this year, apparently. I believe that Chris Wetherell is going on some trip or other as well, but as he's been in a cave for the last six months, I am never sure exactly what his plans are.


Last weekend, we took some new photos, which turned out really beautifully thanks to Lisa Ingram. We'll be using some of those on the album art.


So, we're looking forward to an amazing summer and a great tour in August! If you have any club/venue contacts or requests, please email us! ( dealership -at- gmail (dot) com - our new email account.) And, we'll be kicking off the summertime with a show at the new, refurbished Hotel Utah, playing with our buddies Hawaiian Getaway. That'll be June 1st, the day after Memorial Day Weekend, so after all your traveling and barbecuing make sure you drop by for a drink.
