jane:  A few thoughts on temporary employment...


Temping sucks, as we all know, but it's better than the alternative. i guess. anyway, at least it leaves you ample time for other diversions... in fact, I've established a regular schedule of diversions. A working girl's gotta have structure.


First thing in the morning, i need some news. nothing too intense, you understand. i don't particularly like starting off the morning with Judeo-Islamic conflict. and for god's sake, just tell me who won the election already but no more "analysis"!!! a dash of social commentary and a healthy dollop of the really important stuff makes for a well-balanced breakfast.


Then i check in with the kids. if they're doing ok, i play some games. you can get your very own emulator and play some kick-ass old school SNES games. sweet.


so far, so good. then i waste time posting stuff on the web log that no one actually cares about. oh well. oops, gotta go. more later.
